This bag is a must for office or traveling business people. Functional, well thought out design, craftsmanship with high quality leather all with a 10 year guarantee! I replaced a designer leather bag I had for 15+ years with this one and I couldn’t be happier.

I wanted a nice leather bag and spent several days looking online: this is the one I picked for, looks (inside and out), as well as quality (judged by past reviews).
I took it on my 10 day fall vacation: three flights (carry-on), three car trips, three homes. I think this bag is pretty great and worth the price.
I might have liked a veg-tan bag, but I'd expect that to be double the price, or more.

The weight is part and parcel of wanting nice leather: If I wanted lightweight I'd get a cheap formless ugly nylon bag.
I don't understand those who choose leather, brass, or pewter goods (for instance) and then complain about the weight.

Really nice leather. Well built and durable. Several hundreds of dollars less than "name" brands like Tumi, Samsonite, Satchel and Page.

The feel of the leather is soft yet durable. It is spacious for my needs which are carrying folders from work, an Apple Ipad and decks from board presentations. A small umbrella and glasses and pens etc. Appears that it should last a while without the edges fraying like my last briefcase. Very satisfied, so far.
